Hi there, I’m Riley! I’m an actor, singer, and fight choreographer, and a proud graduate of Texas State University hailing originally from Belton, Texas. Growing up, whether I knew it or not, creating and performing was a part of who I am. I’d spend hours coming up with stories and playing pretend in the woods in my backyard with friends, impersonating and quoting funny videos with my brother, and even coordinating my own dance routines to put on shows for family or friends that were visiting, complete with complementary cups of water (looking back it’s much more obvious that this would be the career path I was bound for). Art has always colored my life and continues to do so, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As an artist, I find joy in diving into different worlds, situations, and points of view with generosity and authenticity. I’m truly fulfilled when an audience can escape reality, embrace the unknown, and discover a greater sense of empathy alongside me. I view art as a chance for both the audience and the artist themselves to experience new perspectives and understand one another even just a little bit more.
I like to think that at the core of everything I do is the little kid that loved playing pretend and making up stories to entertain himself, only now I get to bring others along for the ride. Lucky me!
But who am I, really?
While I am most certainly an artist, I like to think and try to make sure that there’s more to me than that. At my core I’m a guy that loves my family and friends, and I consider them a central part of who I am. Most days you can find me spending time with the people I love, nerding out over dungeons and dragons, scrambling to take pictures of nature, trying to approach stray cats to pet them, desperately trying to beat my high score in bowling (225), or laughing at silly raccoon memes. Below you can find plenty of the people, places, and things that bring joy to my life and make me who I am.
